Mac PowerBook Power Cord = Finished?

We finally made it to Togo this past weekend. The trip turned out to be surprisingly easy but of course not without a few hiccups. There is plenty to share and some great photos but at the moment our PowerBook's power cord shorted during a power outage at the office yesterday :(

So until we get some more juice, I don't have access to the photos and the adventure will have to be shared later this week (hopefully!).

In the meanwhile, here's an update on what we've been up to:

Brian
Completed PowerPoint presentation for the sorghum project but presentation to Guinness put on hold for the moment
Getting started on next project focused on the fruit industry in Ghana
Hoarded exorbitant amounts of Ghana Highlife music - sweet
Won both Fantasy Football leagues this past week - double sweet
Finished reading King Leopold's Ghost - excellent book

Jalyn
Had first article published for NGO News Africa (non-profit I'm volunteering with)
Working on next article about Ghana's sanitation issues
Explored Accra's busiest market and purchased souvenirs
Listening to the music Brian's been hoarding - bonus
Reading Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie - so far so good

More to come on Togo. This weekend we are most likely traveling to Benin. And where is this Benin you ask? We had to look it up as well:
